Last week we communicated some important information about Alliance’s acquisition of Audiolife. If you missed the news or didn’t read through the email entirely, we posted it in the Artist Support Knowledge Base. We highly recommend you take the time to read through it, especially if you currently use Topspin Fulfillment.
As we mentioned, the transition is happening very quickly and we need your help. We will begin shipping products back to artists this week, but we need to know where to send them. These will be products that Alliance already stocks in their warehouse. If you are a Topspin Fulfillment customer, please take a moment right now (yes, now) and tell us where to send your products.
We also just updated the Topspin Fulfillment Instructions, which has the new Alliance warehouse address for products arriving at the warehouse after June 8. Updated shipping and handling rates and methods, all of which will be going into effect on or around June 25, 2012, can also be found in the instructions. The vast majority of rates have either stayed the same or dropped in price, though a few of them have gone up slightly, generally less than $0.25 on some single items. The only real exception is next day service for single items is more expensive due to the fact that UPS Next Day Air has a single rate for anything 1 lbs. and under. It doesn’t go by oz. like the other services and rate cards do. International Express is cheaper, and in some cases over $10 cheaper (!!). Everything now ships quite a bit faster to customers.
We still have a few small details to work out and we’ll likely be sending out one more update to Topspin Fulfillment customers. We would much rather you be over-informed than not know what’s happening during this transition. We will be updating the Announcements section of the Artist Knowledge Base as we get info. If you have any questions at all, just leave a comment on the KB article, hit up Artist Support via the web form or on live chat, if you’re a Plus or Enterprise customer.
